The first of this year's majors and arguably the most eagerly anticipated of the four kicks off this week, as the world's best golfers tee off at Augusta National. It's always hard to call with four of the last six winners starting off at odds of 100/1 or more but we've tried to narrow it down with our look at what it takes to win a Masters and our "Five to Follow".

If the 2012 U.S Masters is to become the Hollywood blockbuster that the PR gurus market it as, it must surely be called “THE MASTERS: UNFINISHED BUSINESS” with the lead role falling firmly at the feet of a young Mr McIlroy.

The US Open returns to the Congressional Country Club in Maryland for the first time since 1997 – however the blue course is a very different animal to the one that Ernie Els conquered 14 years ago.

Who doesn't love The Masters; the best of the best of the best lining up to compete for one of the most prestigious prizes in sport? Millions watching across the globe - half of which sat snoring away on their sofa at a late hour after one too many cans of their favourite tipple. So as someone famous, or not so famous I don't know, said, let’s make things more interesting.

Overall 2010 has been another corking sporting year and I wanted to share some of my favourite moments with you all. Some are pretty obvious but some are a bit more obscure and are less mainstream. It's certainly not a definitive list, more, the moments that got me excited and got me screaming at the telly.
