Sunday 5th December saw the BBL Cup first leg semi-final between Cheshire Jets and Sheffield Sharks. I was lucky enough to gain unprecedented access into the home side’s dressing room during the half-time interval to document how the game unfolded.

This weekend saw Mersey Tigers strengthen their position yet again at the top of the BBL Championship with two fine performances, with comfortable victories against Guildford Heat and Leicester Riders.

Saturday sees two league fixtures with Leicester Riders at home to Mersey Tigers and Guildford Heat are the visitors against Worcester Wolves. Sunday also sees another two league fixtures with Mersey Tigers this time at home (in the Echo Arena) to the Wolves, along with Plymouth Raiders taking on Worthing Thunder.

The BBL – the highest level of basketball there is in Britain. Twelve teams dotted around the country, who play roughly twice a week and usually play at weekends.
